Receding Tide

Acrylic on canvas. 54 x 48cm. 
I lived for a while in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. I walked daily on the beaches. Low tide was always such a delight. The reflections often were breathtaking, often the whole sky in repeat below my feet. I also enjoyed the broken, fractured reflections found in the shapes left by the out going tide.
