There You Are, Said Alice

My daughter bent over to look at something in a puddle and I noticed her reflection reaching out to touch her. It evoked a lovely little dialogue in my mind. I couldn't resist photographing her and making something from it. I often take photgraphs on thjis pathway as it is piutted becasue of the heavy tractor traffic. We get lovely puddles reflecting the clouds, trees, passing people. It's like its a gateway to another parallel world. Hannah touched it for an instant but love held her back....
Dry point and collage on recycled packaging, with the addition of collage during the printing process. Each print is Edition Varied and is a short run due to the fugative nature of the plate.
