Service Description
We will learn how to transfer our design to an easy scratch plate, (great if you're not confident to draw, as you can easily trace) use a dry-point tool and then subsequent inking techniques. We will also vary our print using chine cole - a type of collage, and a la poupee - a specific way of adding colour to a plate. Starting with a heavily guided session, you will then move on to to much freer sessions, where you will be able to explore your own ideas and style, with support and guidance as needed. You will have the opportunity to purchase an aluminium or zinc plate if you decide to try dry-point using a metal plate.
